Muscle Building Exercise Programs - Which One Is The Best For You?

By Edward T. Yagi

One of the frequent questions heard in the gym refers to the types of exercises that will increase muscle gain in a certain region of the body. Even if it seems simple, sometimes this question hardly finds an answer.

Two people are not the same. If a type of exercise works for one person it doesn't have to mean that it will work for another in the same way. So how can you answer that question?

Big compound exercises are usually recommended but if you are a beginner, these types of exercises might not work properly for you.

So what approach should you try? If you are a beginner at this then the best thing is to stick to the exercises that give you some results.

If you see some good results from a type of exercise then you don't have to change it because another person is doing another exercise for the same body part. Like it was mentioned before, people are different so different exercises work for two people for the same body part.

A good example regards upper chest muscles. People use different degrees of inclination for the chest press. Some need a high incline to see results while others don't. So if you just listen to your body then it will pick the proper exercises for you.

Sometimes you might find yourself liking an exercise that you used to hate. Keep doing your favorite exercises but try to mix them with new ones for best results.

Maybe you don't feel like starting something new but you will begin to shape your body in no time. And maybe you will begin to like the new exercises better than the old ones.
